2AM News: The week in review June 11-17

Second Amendment News Digest

Self defense stories from Mississippi, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Illinois, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, California, Kentucky, Arkansas ... SAF and NRA win suit to overturn San Francisco gun ban (the city will appeal, of course, they have nothing to lose as the taxpayer pays the legal costs) ... Stand your Ground laws pass both chambers of the Legislature in Michigan .... rapper Eminem to star in a remake of one of my all time favorites TV shows, "Have Gun -- Will Travel" (somehow I can't see Eminem as Paladin, but, well, we'll see ...) .... in the 'unintended consequences' category, police note that homemade weapons are becoming more prevalent ....overseas, Belgium tightens victim disarmament laws.

Commentaries this week on the idiotic attempts by the UN to 'control guns' worldwide, the need for a Second Amendment, and a piece on 'Guns and numbers' in which the writer actually listens to comments and retracts a statement he made last week parroting the gun grabbers propeganda 'that there are 500 accidental deaths of children per year from firearms'. So, its not always a waste of time responding to anti-gun editorials, sometimes the writers actually listen!
