2AM News:The week in review September 3-9

Source: Second Amendment News Digest

Self defense stories from South Africa, Texas, Florida, South Carolina, New York, Texas, Missoiri, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Georgia, New Mexico and Utah ... my favorites this week, the armed disabled lady in a motorized wheelchair who shot the mugger who was snatching her necklace and the 81 year old in Pennsylvania who fought off an armed robber. In other news this week, idiot pols and courts in Ohio seek to turn parks into victim disarmament zone, while smarter courts in Arizona rules that the self-defense law is retroactive. Commentaries this week on the McCarthy gun grab, Murder in a victim disarmament zone in Georgia, open carry, a woman's right to 'choose' to be armed and EJ Totty's 'Control-Freak News for the week of 006-08-28'.

2AM News: The week in review June 11-17

Second Amendment News Digest

Self defense stories from Mississippi, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Illinois, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, California, Kentucky, Arkansas ... SAF and NRA win suit to overturn San Francisco gun ban (the city will appeal, of course, they have nothing to lose as the taxpayer pays the legal costs) ... Stand your Ground laws pass both chambers of the Legislature in Michigan .... rapper Eminem to star in a remake of one of my all time favorites TV shows, "Have Gun -- Will Travel" (somehow I can't see Eminem as Paladin, but, well, we'll see ...) .... in the 'unintended consequences' category, police note that homemade weapons are becoming more prevalent ....overseas, Belgium tightens victim disarmament laws.

Commentaries this week on the idiotic attempts by the UN to 'control guns' worldwide, the need for a Second Amendment, and a piece on 'Guns and numbers' in which the writer actually listens to comments and retracts a statement he made last week parroting the gun grabbers propeganda 'that there are 500 accidental deaths of children per year from firearms'. So, its not always a waste of time responding to anti-gun editorials, sometimes the writers actually listen!
