In California, a woman convicted of killing her abusive husband in 1985 is freed under a new law passed in 2001 which allows victims of domestic violence who kill their partners to present evidence of the abuse in court, while in Bolivia, landowners armed themselves in expectation of a gov't 'land distribution' plan, in India a Catholic priest stirs conroversy by applying for a pistol license, journalists in the Phillipines arm themselves despite 'advice' from their union and in occupied Iraq, Guns are becoming as important as food. Here in the US, Fedgoons announce they will help NYC in frivolous gun suit while ten states have passed 'stand your ground' laws this year.
