Self defense stories this week from Oklahoma, Ohio, Louisiana, North Carolina, Washington, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Georgua, Texas, Florida and South Africa; pols in Nebraska, Mississippi and Alaska consider expanded RKBA recognition, while in Massachusetts the states first 'gun court' gets underway and an idiot pol proposes a bill to embed tracking devices in guns, in Tennessee a gun manufacturer is named in a frivolous lawsuit, and in Bosnia citizens hold on to their guns 'despite efforts by foreign and local authorities to seize them'. Elderly gun owners (and pretend gun owners) and the disabled trump attackers this week ... as a 93 year old in Pennsylvania scares off a mugger and an 80 year old in California shoots and kills an intruder and a wheelchair young man in Alabama shoots an intruder. Other self defense stories from California, Florida, Texas, Michigan, Wisconsin, Colorado, Indiana, and Maryland. In New York, the idiot Mayor vows to disarm everyone nationwide, while in Canada
Martin escalates victim disarmament threats. Commentaries this week include the clueless 'Honest people have nothing to fear' (it's been suggested that perhaps this is tongue in cheek?) as well as excellent commentaries on the DC and NY gun ban as well as the proposed Canadian ban.

2AM News: The week in review Dec.26-Jan.1

What a great final week for 2005 ... self defense stories from Georgia, Ohio, Missouri, Tennessee, Colorado, Idaho, Wisconsin, Florida, Alabama, New Hampshire, Texas, Washington, Oklahoma, and Oregon .... thousands in the UK turn out to protest the hunting ban, and the NRA lawsuit in California delays implementation of the handgun ban! Good commentaries from Scott Sexton (Winston-Salem Journal) and Glenn McAdoo (Lahontan Valley News) and a first hand account from South Africa on how a 'Firearm saved us from hijackers'.
